የኢትዮጵያ የባህር ትራንስፖርትና ሎጅስቲከስ አገልግሎት ድርጅት ከአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርስቲ ጋር በመተባበር አውደ ጥናት አካሄደ
ESLSE and AAU Conducted Workshop

ኢባትሎአድ ከአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የቢዝነስ ተቋማት ኃላፊነቱ የተወሰነ የግል ማኀበር ጋር በመተባበር ያስጠናቸው 4 ጥናቶች የቀረቡበት አውደ ጥናት ታህሳስ 16 ቀን 2ዐዐ8 ዓ.ም. በሂልተን ሆቴል ተካሄዷል፡፡ በዚህ አውደ ጥናት ላይ የድርጅቱን ደንበኞች እርካታ፣ የሰው ኃይል ስትራቴጂ፣ የሠራተኞች ዕርካታን እና ተቋማዊ ባሕልን አስመልክቶ በከፍተኛ የጥናት አማካሪዎች እና የጥናት ቡድኖች የተጠኑ ጥናቶች ሪፖርት ለውይይት ቀርበዋል፡፡

A workshop organized by Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics Services Enterprise and Addis Ababa University has been conducted on Saturday December 26, 2015 at Hilton Hotel. Four study papers regarding the enterprise customer satisfaction, human resource strategy, employees satisfaction and company culture are presented by AAU professors and management consultants groups, from the academic institution Business Enterprise PLC.

በአውደ ጥናቱ ላይ ከድርጅቱ አራቱም ዘርፎች ጥሪ የተደረገላቸው የሥራአመራር አባላት እና የአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የቢዝነስ እና ኢኮኖሚክስ የጥናት ቡድን አባላት ተገኝተዋል፡፡

The vice CEOs of the enterprises, top Management members, as well as the study team and their leaders who made the four baseline studies mentioned above were  present on the workshop.

Ato Mesfin Tefera, representing the CEO of the enterprise, in his opening  remarks has said that the workshop has a significant value for the  ESLSE, as it help build up its service rendering quality and capacity. He explained that the four researches has been conducted because the enterprise management aimed to reinforce the strategic approach that it started in 2014, by acquiring a baseline and foresee its critical continuous improvements.

አውደ ጥናቱን የከፈቱት የድርጅቱ ዋና ሥራ አስፈፃሚ ተወካይ የፍሬት ፎርዋርዲንግ እና የሎጅስቲክስ ዘርፍ ም/ዋና ሥራ አስፈፃሚ አቶ መስፍን ተፈራ ሲሆኑ ይህንን መሰሉ አውደ ጥናት ድርጅቱ የተጣለበትን ልማታዊ ተልዕኮ ለመወጣት እንዲችል ትልቅ ጠቀሜታ እንዳለው ገልፀዋል፡፡ ጥናቶቹ የቀረቡት ድርጅቱ በ2ዐዐ7 ዓ.ም. ወደ ስትራቴጂክ ትግበራ ቢገባም ከላይ በተጠቀሱት ጉዳዮች ላይ መሠረታዊ የመነሻ ጥናት (Base line) ባለመኖሩ ይህንን ለማሟላት እንደሆነ ጠቅሰዋል፡፡

Discussions were held among the participants of the workshop and tentative evaluations were made regarding the reports. Hence the researches with regard to customer satisfaction and human resource strategy are accepted with minor improvements. While on the other hand, the researches on the employee’s satisfaction and company culture are discussed upon, the top management has commented that it has to be revised and made to be practical document that provides practical solutions without further research.

ጥናቶቹ ከደንበኞች እርካታ እና ከሰው ኃይል ስትራቴጂ አንፃር አበረታች ውጤቶች እንደተገኙ ያመላከተ ሲሆን ከሠራተኞች እርካታ እና የመሥሪያ ቤት ባህልን ከመገንባት አንፃር ግን ብዙ ሥራ ሊሠራባቸው እንደሚገባ ያመላከቱ ናቸው፡፡ በሌላ በኩል ጥናቶቹ ዘመናዊ እና ወቅታዊ ንድፈ ሐሳባዊና ሳይንሳዊ አካሄዶችን መሠረት ያደረጉ ሲሆን በዓለም አቀፍ ደረጃ የተገኙ ውጤቶችንና የጥናት አቅጣጫዎችን ተጠቅመዋል፡፡ በዚህም ጥናቶቹ በአይነታቸው አዲስና የተለዩ አቅጣጫዎች ተንፀባርቀውባቸዋል፡፡

የጥናት ውጤቶቹን አስመልክቶ ከአውደ ጥናቱ ተሳታፊዎች በርካታ ጥያቄዎች የተነሱ ሲሆን ከተነሱትም መካከል በጥናቶቹ ማጠቃለያ ላይ ለድርጅቱ ወቅታዊና ተጨባጭ ችግሮች የመፍትሔ ሃሳቦች ለምን አልተቀመጡም፣ ጥናቶቹን ለማከናወን አጥኚዎች የመረጧቸው ጠቅላላ የናሙና ብዛት እና ዓይነት ወደ ጥናቱ ማጠቃለያ ሊያደርስ የሚችል ነወይ፣ የሚሉ ጥያቄዎች ተነስተዋል፡፡ ጥናቶቹ የአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የጥናት ቡድን ከተፈረመው የመግባቢያ ሰነድ ጋር የተስማሙ ስለመሆናቸውም ጥያቄዎች ጠጠይቀዋል፡፡
ለእነዚህ ጥያቄዎች የአጥኚ ቡድኑ አባላት ምላሽ ሲሰጡ አራቱም ጥናቶች ከድርጅቱ ጋር በተደረገው የመግባቢያ ሰነድ መሠረት የተከናወኑ መሆናቸውን የገለፁ ሲሆን በዋናነትም መሠረታዊ የመነሻ ደረጃ መለያ ነጥቦችን እንዳመላከቱና እነዚህም ተግባራዊና ተጨባጭ መፍትሔዎችን እንዳመላከቱ ገልፀዋል፡፡ 

የአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የቢዝነስ ተቋም ኃ/የተ/የግል ማኀበር ከኢባትሎአድ ጋር በመተባበር ያዘጋጀው አውደ ጥናት ሁለቱ ተቋማት ሙያዊና ማኀበራዊ ኃላፊነታቸውን ለመወጣት ተደጋግፈው የሚሠሩ መሆናቸው የተመላከተበት እንደሆነ ተገልጿል፡፡

Various comments and questions regarding the research papers are forwarded by the participants. Among these were the question why the researchers should not have provided a practical and procedural solutions that has to be implemented to alleviate the problems pointed in the research findings. How far the population sample chosen for understanding the customers degree of satisfaction could level the customers degree of satisfaction index it has been arrived. And the fact that the TOR of all the researches undertaking should have been observed with common understanding between the AAU and the Enterprise has also been questioned.

In this regard the study team responded that all the research findings were derived from a base line research and the findings could provide practical guide lines to the solutions of all the research topics covered in rigorous studies. 
  
It is also underscored on the discussion that the researches have based modern and update theoretical and scientific approaches. These were admired by some of the participants as the new approaches  provided new and empirical findings. The joint workshop has also witnessed that Addis Ababa University and Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics Services Enterprise could work together to reinforce each other in their efforts to meet their social and professional responsibilities.
